Ankita Lokhande, the popular TV actress, recently took to Instagram and celebrated the release of her new web series Pavitra Rishta 2. Sharing the clip, Ankita wrote, “15/09/2021. Pavitra Rishta. A day full of love and blessings. Thank you each and everyone for the love, support and appreciation. Grateful.”
In a video shared on Instagram, the actress is seen standing with her boyfriend, businessman Vicky Jain, as she cuts the cake. The two also sing the title track of the show. Referring to Vicky as her “real life Manav”, Ankita is seen holding hands and feeding him a cake.

Back in 2009, ZEE TV and Ekta R Kapoor, the content czarina, put together a show called Pavitra Rishta, which went on to become a historic phenomenon. The show ran for five whole years on ZEE TV, with a total of 1424 episodes, and went on to become the most iconic daily soap in Indian TV history.
Ankita Lokhande played the role of Archana, while Sushant Singh Rajput played Manav, who both became the perfect daughter-in-law and son of every Indian family. And to keep late actor Sushant’s legacy on, ZEE5 and ALTBalaji released “Pavitra Rishta…it’s never too late”. In the show, Ankita continued to essay the role of Archana and Shaheer Sheikh came on board to portray the iconic character of Manav.
