‘Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi’ was premiere on 5th April 2010 on Star One channel and was produced by Four Lion films. It was the story that revolves around the simple Indian girl and how she struggled in a new city to find her way out for the survival and along with the struggle found herself love and unconditional support from a business tycoon Maan Singh Khurana and his family.
Geet, the title character played by Drashti Dhami is abandoned by her NRI husband and very bravely she finds her way in the new city along with the support she needed emotionally.
The character played by Drashti Dhami was that of Geet Handa and Gurmeet Choudhary as Maan Singh Khurana.
In the series, the audience had loved the couple a lot and it was title as most loved Jodi of all the times.
Even after enormous success and fame for the Jodi, the pair didn’t return onscreen together. The reason as quoted by Gurmeet Choudhary is, “I am happy because fans still love the onscreen chemistry between Geet and Maan. I want to explore myself as an actor by adorning different characters. Repeating the Jodi only brings back the previous character in mind, which is not healthy for the next project. The pairing and character sketch should be fresh.”
Still, audiences want them back some time to recreate the magic they created once and rule the hearts of millions again.
