Tanya Sharma the lead of Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka 2, who plays the role of Reema has been winning hearts with her emphatic emotionally disturbing phase in the show.
Yesterday’s telecast showed a major twist in the tale wherein Reema attempted suicide by cutting her wrist and trying to drown herself in the bathtub.
Tanya had put up a shocking picture on Instagram which had her fans worried. The reaction was so touching and shocking for Tanya that she had to quickly put up a BTS video of the suicide sequence shoot in order to calm her fans down.

We at IWMBuzz.com had a brief talk with Tanya, where she talked about the shooting experience for this tough sequence in the show. “Before doing the scene, I was quite excited because this is one scene I have never experienced. Since I had to be in the tub till the shoot was over, it was shot in real quick time. My Director was very careful and so was my co-actor Karan Sharma. The scene ultimately saw Reema being helped out by Vivaan.”
Ask Tanya about the curious and worrisome comments that she got from her fans once she put up the picture and Tanya explained, “Yes, I started getting messages on Instagram. My fans were worried for me, and that was very sweet of them. I posted a BTS soon after this, and cleared all their doubts. I wanted to create an awareness about it.”
Tanya who is giving an exceptional performance is happy about this phase in the show. “Reema is at her peak of being vulnerable as she has lost everything that she thought was for herself. Being the ambitious go-getter girl, she is losing family love and her career, and this has made her emotionally unstable. Now all that Reema can do for herself is to get out of this phase and to rise again.”
