Talented actor Aalisha Panwar plays the strong and powerful character of Aarohi in Colors’popular show Ishq Mein Marjawan (Beyond Dreams).
In the recent Navrathri track that saw the integration of her show with the other Colors show, Tu Aashiqui (Guroudev Bhalla), the focus was on women empowerment and Aalisha enjoyed shooting for it.
Says Aalisha, “A woman is not a weak soul. She can fight back. And this is what our show speaks about.”
Aalisha who shot along with the other popular actress from the channel Jannat Zubair Rahmani, the lead in Tu Aashiqui for the Mahasangam is all praise for Jannat’s character Pankti. “Earlier Pankti was shown to be into her own problems. But now she is fighting back. And she wants to fight to have her love. Jannat plays a very strong character too in her show.”
Talking more about Jannat, Aalisha states, “We have shot together on two occasions for Mahasangam episodes. We both share a great bond. We simply love each others’ company. We love it and can get the house on fire if we are left alone (smiles).”
The girl goes on about what makes them gel so well. “We go crazy when we are in a room together. We dance like crazy and this is a stress buster for us. We click funny videos and enjoy. We also talk about various girly stuffs and also about our fashion sense, shoot process, health so on an so forth.”
Aalisha appreciates Jannat’s capabilities as an actor. “She’s too good an actress.”
Ask her whar Jannat likes the best about her and she avers, “You need to ask Jannat this question (smiles).”
