Urfi Javed, the name needs no introduction today, The actress shot to fame with her stint in the OTT Bigg Boss, and since then there’s been no looking back for the actress. Of late, the actress grabs eyeballs with her unique fashion updos on social media, and while some of the netizens appreciate her for her bold choices, some choose to troll; but in all these, Urfi happens to stand all strong and dauntless.
Speaking of that, not many know that the same Urfi before becoming popular suffered through immense struggles financially and almost was suicidal because of it.
Talking to ETimes, Urfi Javed said, ‘I was a very under-confident child who always wanted to do something big. I knew so much in my childhood that I would be very famous, I don’t know how… but I knew one day I would definitely be famous. My family was very conservative so I left my home. Then I started working in the call centre. One day I got a call for a job interview, so I came here. After coming here, I stayed with a friend of mine. Thought I would wait a month and see, anyway I was not getting any special money in the call centre. Then two-three months stretched while doing this. But I was always very optimistic about my family.”
The actress further added, “There were many such phases when I became depressed, I started having suicidal thoughts, I had come on the road, I did not even have money to travel. But I had one thing in my mind, if not this then nothing. I didn’t have the option of going back. My compulsion has brought me this far. I did not think that all this would happen to me after Bigg Boss. I have been in this industry for 8 years but I have not done any identity-making work to date. Nobody knew what I was doing’.” as quoted by ABP Live.
