Actor Sonal Handa who was seen in Colors’ popular show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki was recently in his hometown in Punjab for the ceremony function of their new home.
He was to get back to Mumbai post the function and start shoot for a big project, but destiny had something else in store.
His father Mr. Sanjiv Handa had a fall when he slipped on a stone and suffered a fracture near his left shoulder. As per the doctors, he has to undergo a surgery to set it right.
Says Sonal, “I was very upbeat about my new project. However, I could not get back to Mumbai on time. My father is admitted in Prahar Hospital in Phagwara and will undergo a surgery soon.”
“In addition to the show I was supposed to do, I am getting calls for look tests almost daily. I am in a situation where I have to refuse every offer that has been coming my way. I hope my dad’s surgery gets successful and he recuperates soon. I will look forward to more of the exciting offers on getting back,” he adds.
Sonal might also get back to Shakti very soon.
