Pritam Kumar from Bihar got his first hair cut in 10 years. The talented boy had been grabbing eyeballs for not only his dance skills but also his long hair.
During the auditions it was revealed that Pritam’s daadi had taken a mannat that Pritam’s hair will be cut only after he turns 10 years old. The reason being, Pritam was a premature baby and had complications when he was born. There were very slim chances of him surviving, so for his well being the family offered their prayers to Lord Shiva. Now, that their vow is fulfilled the family did a pooja in Lord Shiva temple and offered his locks of hair to the deity.
Though Pritam is excited with his new look he found something amiss. He said he feels lighter now and is enjoying the new look. He said his fellow contestants did not recognise him initially and thought it’s his twin brother.
