Naagin has returned to television screens. This weekend’s episode of Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural drama established the tone for the remaining episodes. This time, the well-known producer attempted to combine the otherworldly with the epidemic.
A scientist summons the sages and saints to inform them of a ‘mahamari’ (pandemic) that is coming to strike India and the rest of the globe. They aren’t willing to believe him. However, what he claims eventually proves to be accurate. They find their way back to him, and he leads them to Shesha Naagin (Maheck Chahal), who ultimately decides to aid them.
In a parallel story, Pratha (Tejasswi Prakash) is anxious for work and gets herself into problems following a dubbing session in which she performs voiceover for a Naagin.
Simba Nagpal (Rishabh Gujral) is shown as an army officer. He as well as his brother Ritesh are planning to marry the daughters of a friend of their mothers. Rishabh would be the one who gets part of the message delivered by the scientist through his assistant, warning the army men of the threat posed by the ‘dushman’ to their country. He’s perplexed by that.
