Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is that one show that has been ruling the entertainment space in Hindi TV content for the longest time and if there’s one character apart from Jethalal who has helped the show reach new heights with her prolific acting and fun quotient, it’s Disha Vakani aka our very own Dayaben.

Every time we saw Dayaben in front of her on-screen brother ‘Sundarlal’, she simply couldn’t control her joy and excitement.

Hilarious Moments between TMKOC’S Dayaben & Sundarlal

When Sundarlal send Rice Bag from Ahmedabad:-

It is a common practice for Sundarlal to send parcels to Dayaben from Ahmedabad, and it is always on a cash-on-delivery basis. When he sent the rice bag this time, Jethalal assumed that he needed to pay the delivery person, so he paid Rs. 7000 without consulting Sundarlal. When Dayaben called her brother to thank him, Jethalal informed her that she should tell Sundarlal not to send anything further because he had to pay for it. However, Sundarlal was surprised to hear this as he had already paid for the rice. This came as a shock to Jethalal as he had already paid.

When Sundarlal asks for money to Dayaben:-

In the TV series, it is always shown that Dayaben has a good relationship with her brother Sundarlal. Sundarlal always asks Dayaben for things, and she manages to fulfill his requests. This time, Sundarlal asks for some money to give to his friends who are in Mumbai, but Jethalal denies his request. However, Dayaben knows how to convince her husband and manages to do so by promising to cook his favorite dish. Food is a weakness of Jethalal, and Dayaben uses this to her advantage.

When Sunderlal takes all the ladies from Gokuldham for the shopping at Ahmedabad:-

The women of society made plans to meet the next day to discuss shopping. However, before doing so, they consulted their husbands who were not in favour of the plan and as a result, the plan was dropped. The following day, Sundarlal came to meet Daya and spent some quality time with Kerry. When he learned of Daya’s desire to shop in Ahmedabad, Sundarlal encouraged the idea and offered to take all the ladies there. This led to the ladies requesting permission from their husbands to go on the shopping trip. Although the husbands were initially hesitant to give permission, they eventually agreed to let the ladies go to Ahmedabad for shopping and return within a day.
