Week after week, the top 10 contestants have been winning the audience’s hearts with their terrific performances, and this weekend, the Bollywood veteran actress Aruna Irani will be seen gracing the special episode. While all the contestants gave their best, it was the contestant Devika’s performance to the iconic Aruna Irani’s song ‘Kaliyon Ka Chaman’ that left everyone mesmerized. Right after her performance, Aruna Irani couldn’t stop herself from giving the performance a standing ovation. And, after getting to know about the struggle story of Devika and her parents, she shared how she sees herself in Devika. Not just that, she even talked about the time she struggled to get work during the nascent stage of her career.
Aruna Irani mentioned, “I have watched the last episode where you asked for a pastry from your father, but he couldn’t give that to you because he has rent and other important things to pay for. This kind of time comes in everyone’s life, it came in my life too. So, I see myself in you because you didn’t get to eat the pastries, that’s why today I thought of getting pastries for you and all the kids.”
Further to this, Anu Malik added, “I remember when I was struggling, I didn’t have enough money to eat lunch, so I used to eat ‘Chana’ and drink 3 glasses of water, which used to make my stomach completely full. And even now, that habit hasn’t gone, and I still keep on munching ‘Chana’.”
While Aruna Irani reminisced about the good and bad days of her career, wait till you watch all the extravagant performances by these contestants.
