Naagin 6′ premiered on 12 February this year and has been mesmerising viewers ever since. Following the success of ‘Chandrakanta – Ek Mayavi Prem Katha,’ actress Urvashi Dholakia returned to television for the first time in four years. In the drama, Dholakia portrays a sleek, wealthy lady who is also a devoted mother to her two kids. Her involvement, though, was kept under wraps, and Dholakia, too, has been tight-lipped regarding the character’s destiny.
When asked about her part in the show, Urvashi didn’t give away much and simply replied by saying, “You’ll have to see the show to know more.”
Dholakia’s followers were ecstatic to see her return to the screen, but few realised that it had been her mom who was the most ecstatic. Dholakia stated this when speaking about the subject. She said, “My family is always happy when I am working. My boys are always happy for their mother. But my mother is super excited. She told me – ‘I have always wondered why Ekta (Kapoor) didn’t take you in ‘Naagin’?’ So I told her that now her dream has come true.”
“There is a perfect time for everything to happen. In my case, the writers and the producers, and the team had to figure out what characterisation would suit me best. It took some time for them to create a role suited best for me, but now I am back to working with Balaji,” Urvashi further added.
