Ekta Kapoor has brought back her decade old popular TV show “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” with Erica Fernandes as the new Prerna Sharma and Parth Samthaan as the now Anurag Basu. The earlier version of the show had Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan in the lead and we can’t help but pick favorites!
If asked who the better Anurag is, the answer would very well be Parth Samthaan. In the previous series Cezanne was replaced after few months because of his bad acting skills. But on the other hand, Parth is extremely hot and good-looking guy plus a very good actor, which is a great bonus. Parth aka Anurag 2.0 is blessed with better comic timing too and we can say for sure that it adds that little bit of jazz to the character of Anurag.
If asked who the better Prerna is, 2018 Prerna wins for her modern appeal and the grace and elegance she is bringing with her. However, we would also add that in terms of experience, the old Prerna had that golden charm about her that made it feel like she is it. And even though the old Prerna was more of an extrovert, but 2018 Prerna is still bit awkward and that adds to her charms. But credit where credit is due, Erica is definitely a better actress than Shweta was at that age, which is why we would pick her over Shweta, but it’s a very close margin!
The old family of 20 members was not introduced properly but that is not the case for 2018 family. The characters are properly introduced and placed with a better character sketch this time and proof of that is of course the raging TRPs of this show that have made it an audience favorite in no time!
