The Wednesday episode of Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s “Anupamaa” began with Anupamaa crying uncontrollably and saying why she couldn’t say anything about Anuj to the family. She is feeling sorry for herself and Anuj and just then she sees someone coming there. Anuj comes to her and wipes her tears. Anupamaa apologises to him and tells him that she has only given him pain and has become a reason for tears in his eyes. Anupamaa tries to console her and says that she has no reason to be sorry for.

Anupamaa tells her she was very happy when she became a mother, but the joy of becoming a grandmother is something else. She tells him that in their society there is a certain perception about grandparents and that stopped her from saying both the news that she is becoming a grandmother and that she wants to marry Anuj. Anuj tells her that he doesn’t know how that feels, he doesn’t know how it feels when one becomes a father or a husband or a groom, but seeing Anupamaa he has realised that becoming a grandmother is a big deal and that’s why she couldn’t say. Anupamaa completes his sentence that she wants to marry him.

Anuj gets super happy hearing this, and tells her that a little friend of hers had told him her answer. He takes out the sindoor box and tells her that he saw it in the Shah house and now he knows what it meant. Anupamaa tells him that she can’t wait to marry him and asks him if he wants to become Anuj Anupamaa Joshi. Anuj says yes. Anupamaa then hugs Anuj and he hugs her back. They walk back home hand in hand.

In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Rakhi Dave makes an entry at the Shah abode with some band-baaja and everyone is shocked to see her there. To know what happens next, keep watching “Anupamaa”.
