Imlie the Star Plus show produced by Gul Khan’s 4 Lions Films has taken the generation leap post which the story is now focused on the two sisters, Imlie and Cheeni. As we know, Imlie (Megha Chakraborty) is the real daughter of Imlie and Aryan. Cheeni (Seerat Kapoor) was born to Aditya and Malini but has been taken care of by Imlie.
The drama will kickstart with the lives of grownup Imlie and Cheeni taking centre stage. Imlie has remained bound to Mother Nature and the wet mithi (mud) which she considers her mother. Cheeni is well-educated and has been leading a more luxurious life. Meethi lives with Rupi Didi while Imlie lives in Aryan’s place. While Sundar and Arpita love Imlie, Imlie is not accepted by her grandmother Narmada.
The coming track will see contrasting attitudes and ideologies of both Imlie and Cheeni. Imlie will know to spread love and smiles wherever she goes. Cheeni would have grown up with a vengeance for Imlie and would believe that her mother loves her own daughter more than her.
