&TV’s latest offering Jaat Na Poocho Prem Ki produced by Shaika Telefilms and Cockcrow Entertainment narrates a riveting love saga deeply embedded in a strongly rooted caste system.
The show has kept the audience hooked to their TV screen with interesting twists and turns. The series traces the journey of a young couple Badal and Suman belonging to different castes who fight for their love against the oppressive caste system prevalent in their society and family. Pursuing the hopes and struggles of these two lovers, the romantic drama attempts to gently highlight the harsh realities of casteism that continue to oppress lovers and people even today.
As per the storyline, the blooming love between Suman and Badal brings Badal to Suman’s house. While both are happy to be in each other company in the house the happiness doesn’t last way too long as Suman’s father Pujan Pandey starts treating Badal as a househelp. On the other hand, Pujan gets a whiff about a marriage that is happening between a lower caste bride and upper-caste groom. He fumes and leaves the house with a gun. He reaches the marriage scene and shoots the bride and the groom along with the bride’s father. Everyone is left aghast.
Now, in the coming episode, the audience will witness the high-end drama.
