Kulfi Kumar Bajewala the popular Star Plus show produced by Gul Khan and Nilanjana Purkayasstha has been dealing with many social issues, creating social awareness to the people in general.
The coming track will focus on Nandini (Iris Maithy) and Sikandar (Mohit Malik) and how Sikandar will awaken the daring and bold woman in Nandini to fight the demons in her life and put up a strong perspective of her own.
Yes, you heard it right!!
Nandini has been shown as an independent single mother taking care of her daughter Pakhi (Aashi) all alone.
The makers have already depicted a flashback sequence suggestive of Nandini’s husband being really abusive in nature.
There was also a scene wherein Nandini was harassed by her landlord, and it was Lovely (Anjali Anand) who ferociously showed Nandini the way to fight such perverted people.
Now in the coming track, Nandini’s husband will get back into her life and will behave in the same abusive way. Nandini will have a breakdown of sorts, seeing her life getting abnormal again.
However, it will be Sikandar who would show Nandini the right way to live her life and fight her own battle.
The makers will yet again bring forward a message that no woman needs a man to protect and safeguard. Women should bring out the confidence and zeal in them to fight their own battles and emerge victorious.

We buzzed Producer and Writer of Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Nilanjana Purkayasstha who expressed her sentiments and thoughts while planning this particular track. “We have earlier shown an abusive past of Nandini. As a maker, what I wanted to show was that even independent women don’t know how to deal with abuse and harassment. They are also victims. When Lovely defended Nandini, what I wanted to show was that women don’t need men to protect them. Women should stand up for each other. Now Nandini’s husband will return and Sikandar will find out.”
Ask her how supportive Sikandar will be towards Nandini and she exclaims, “Instead of protecting Nandini, Sikandar will tell Nandini to stand up for herself and she will do. I wanted to send out the message that women can stand up for themselves and not be a victim.”
