Senior actor Sudesh Berry who has had a fruitful career in films and TV played the role of Harak Singh for nearly five years in the recently concluded show on Colors, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.

The thespian actor has always earned name and fame for making the character he plays his own!! Whether it be his mythological portrayals (Mahabharat, Siya Ke Ram) or the ultimate baddie roles (Loha Singh in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo), he has always given his best.

As Harak in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, he ruled the show even when the show lost its lead pair (Vivian Dsena and Rubina Dilaik) and introduced the younger generation leads.

Says Sudesh when asked about his fruitful journey being part of Shakti, “My journey in Shakti can be described as the amazing innings of mine when all the batsmen got out and the bowler scored a century and lead the way. Similarly, even when Shakti lost its leads in Vivian Dsena and Rubina Dilaik, Harak Singh continued to spread his charm and held the show strongly. If at all a biography is written on me, there will be this lovely page that will mention about this morale-boosting innings of mine in Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Being part of the show actually boosted my immune system. The show would have continued if it was not polluted by a few unwanted additions in the plot.”

Sudesh Berry will now be seen in Dangals’ next which is produced by Film Farm. Talking briefly about this character, he states, “This character will be the softer side to Loha Singh. You can also call him to be the sophisticated version of Loha Singh.”

In future, Sudesh will love to associate with Producers like Neela Telefilms, makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Oltah Chashmah, wherein the actor gets the opportunity to grow along with the role.

Best of luck, Sudesh!!
