Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey continues to garner a massive fan following with its lighthearted and relatable content catering to three different generations, amassing a lot of love and appreciation for its meaningful storyline. The current series of episodes brings the biggest twist of all time in the story as the Wagle family goes through harrowingly trying times with Atharva’s (Sheehan Kapahi) kidnapping.

Atharva and Vandana’s (Pariva Pranati) day begins with a dispute as Vandana mistakenly blames Atharva for printing Dakku’s (Deepak Pareek) picture with ‘Wanted – Dead or Alive’ written on it. Going about their usual day, the Wagle family is completely oblivious of the misfortune which looms over them. On his way to school, Atharva gets kidnapped by two goons. What has happened to Atharva is of complete mystery to the entire Wagle family as their simple lifestyle could not land them in trouble with goons.

What will the kidnappers do to Atharva? Will the family learn about the kidnapping? Will he get back safely?

Sumeet Raghavan essaying the role of Rajesh Wagle, said, “This is the first time that the Wagle family has gone through something of this seriousness and gravity. Not knowing your child’s whereabouts is a complete nightmare for any parent and to find out that they have been kidnapped brings an indescribable amount of stress on the family. Being a parent myself, I wouldn’t even want to think about something like this, which is why I could really relate to my character. In traditional homes like the Wagle family, the father has to look out for the safety of all family members, and your son being kidnapped just brings a sense of failure. But what matters the most in this situation is family support, and we don’t just have the Wagle family but the entire Sai Darshan Heights Society with us looking for Atharva. So, it will be interesting to see how the entire family deals with this situation.”

Pariva Pranati essaying the role of Vandana Wagle, said, “Being a mother myself, I could really feel each and every emotion that Vandana was going through. The Wagle family leads a very simple life, so having their son Atharva kidnapped for ransom is beyond the worst that any of them could have ever imagined. You are never prepared for something like this to happen, and it takes a huge emotional toll on every single family member in its own way. Vandana and Atharva fought the same day, so the guilt of scolding him became much stronger for her with the kidnapping. You feel helpless, and there is a looming threat to your child’s wellbeing and safety. But the family as a whole always sticks together and comes out stronger with each passing obstacle, so it will be interesting to witness how they get out of this massive setback.”
