&TV’s Bitti Businesswali lead actress Prakruti Mishra bags the National Award

Popular Ollywood actress Prakruti Mishra who will be next seen in &TV’s new fiction show, Bitti Businesswali was present at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi to receive the National Film Award. The beautiful actress won this prestigious award in Special Mention category for jury Best Actress for her film ‘Hello Arsi’. She received the coveted award from Smriti Irani, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State, Information and Broadcasting. Additionally, the Odia feature film, ‘Hello Arsi’ also bagged the Best Odia film and the Best Dialogue award at the 65th National Film Awards ceremony held in the capital.

Fresh from this huge success, Prakruti will be seen playing the protagonist on &TV’s new show ‘Bitti Businesswali’. The latter is a story of an opinionated young girl who is on a quest to become financially independent. Through the eyes of Bitti, the show will highlight her achievements as she fights the rules of the patriarchal society to become independent in all sense. Bitti’s journey will inspire audiences starting 14th May, 2018, every Mon-Fri, 7:30PM.

Sharing her happiness on the same, she shared, “I have so many mixed emotions at the moment. I am honoured to receive such a prestigious award for a film that has been so close to my heart. It’s like a double celebration for me! Along with receiving this award, I am also starting a new journey with Bitti Businesswali on &TV. I hope the viewers would appreciate my performance in the role of Bitti as well. This moment is the highlight of my career and will always inspire me to keep achieving more.”

While receiving the award, Prakruti Mishra thanked her producer Ajay Routray, writer Late Sambit Mohanty and her father Manmath Mishra for the achievement.
