Choti Sarrdaarni the Colors show produced by Cockrow and Shaika Entertainment has been doing good, being in the Top 3 shows across channels. The show has been gaining rave reviews from viewers. The audience is totally in love with the show.
Choti Sarrdaarni is the story of Meher who is coerced by her mother into marrying Sarabjit, a widower with a 5-year-old child. But, much to her mother’s dislike, Meher is pregnant with her lover, Manav’s child. Can she stand up for her love and fight her own? This is the journey of a strong-willed woman who makes her own rules and stands by them.
We like the cultural values shown in the show. Punjabi culture has been depicted pretty well. The customs, traditions, and minute details of the rich Punjabi culture is portrayed to the point.
The story-line surrounding honor-killing is quite intriguing. Although there have been many movies and TV shows on the subject, all of them became a bit upsetting for the viewers. Whereas we feel as far as Choti Sarrdaarni is concerned, the story is treated differently, which makes it stand out.
It is a love story with a unique twist and the heart-warming moments between Meher and Sarabjit are unique and interesting. We can’t wait for them to fall in love again and again.
Here Meher gets sprain in her leg and Sarabjit is worried to see that. Sarabjit applies ointment to Meher’s leg and takes care of her, Sarabjit and Meher share eye-lock moments.
They fight for all the small petty things, and the way Meher calls Sarabjit ‘Jatt in Toilet’ makes us smile. And Sarabjit’s cute way of calling Meher a monkey amazes us.
