Paritosh recalls his peers making fun of him for having two fathers. He wants her to keep quiet because he is afraid he will say something and then attack Kinjal. She abandons the milk on the table.
Malvika jokes with Anuj that he has devised a clever plan to entice his sister to return; he knows that if he marries, his sister will return dancing. Anuj also cracks jokes. She does puja the next morning. Baa takes her puja thali and dismisses her. Vanraj, Pakhi, and Toshu are also uninterested in her. Malvika informs Anuj that she has planned an evening celebration and invites him to return to the Kapadia Empire. Anuj rejects this, claiming that he promised Anupama that he would prove himself and start all over again, and that he would first fulfil his vow and prove himself before rejoining the Kapadia Empire.
