In today’s Anupamaa episode, officers from the orphanage demand that Anuj and Anupamaa return their foster daughter Anu after accusing them of neglecting her. Hearing it, Anupamaa and Anuj become tense and claim they were given incorrect information because they adore their daughter so much. Police inquire as to whether the child was previously lost. Yes, Anuj says, but. The police claim that’s it. Vanraj queries whether youngsters accidentally don’t get lost at home or in the street. According to the police, the man who called from Shahs claimed that Anuj and Anupamaa Kapadia are neglectful of their foster daughter. When Vanraj sees Toshu’s haughty demeanor, he recognizes that he is guilty. Anuj requests the officers to be quiet so their daughter doesn’t become alarmed.
Then in Anupamaa, Anu approaches Anupamaa and Anuj and hugs them. She begs the police not to take her away from her parents since she adores them so much. The police are adamant that they are only doing their job and must keep Anu with them while the inquiry is ongoing. Anupamaa claims that she has three adult biological children in addition to Anu and has never been the subject of such accusations, but that her foster daughter is the subject of such accusations simply because some unidentified male complained, etc. Anuj claims their kid didn’t know they weren’t her biological parents, but they brought it up and scared her. They both beg the authorities not to take Anu from them. Rakhi, Vanraj, Kavya and other housemates also plead the officers.
Later in Anupamaa, the officers request that they should not feel guilty because it is their responsibility to investigate the allegation and ensure that both of them are excellent parents and that no one can take their daughter away from them while someone else engaged in mischief. Everyone thanks the police. Police officers leave. With his strategy having failed, Toshu stands with a grimace. All of them pamper Anu. Toshu’s scowling expression alerts Anupamaa to the fact that he is the offender. She takes Anu in front of Toshu and yells at him. He should have stabbed her in the chest, she screams, rather than attempting to tear her from her daughter. Leela asks Anupamaa whether she has any evidence to back up Toshu’s position. His expression, according to Anupamaa, is proof. Anupamaa is questioned by Anuj about her certainty. Yes, she answers.
Lastly in Anupamaa, Anuj smacks Toshu hard and yells at him for trying to keep him and his daughter apart. Leela shouts at Anuj. He keeps scolding Toshu. Toshu claims he took no action. Vanraj grips his collar and forbids him from speaking the truth. Toshu agrees to call the police because he wants Anupamaa and Anuj to experience the same misery that he is going through. Vanraj cautions him to watch what he says. Toshu becomes convinced that he wants Anupamaa to experience the same agony from being separated from her daughter as he is. Anuj claims that Toshu is suffering as a result of his adultery; he once thought to spare Toshu, but he will not do so anymore. Vanraj claims that Toshu deceived Kinjal and that Kinjal made a decision; therefore, why are Anupamaa and Anuj involved? He corrects Toshu and expresses Toshu’s regret to Anuj. Anupamaa is instructed to take Anu by Anuj so that they can depart. Toshu is cautioned by Anupamaa that the repercussions of his sin may come to pass by saying that one reaps what one sows.
