Baa is upset about Rakhi coming in. She questions if Kinjal informed her about anything but Anupamaa assures that Kinjal wouldn’t do anything like that. They refuse to take the machine but Rakhi refuses to take it back and asks Anupamaa to pay back the money in installments.
Vanraj comes in and warns Rakhi to not insult his wife. He asks her to take the machine back as they don’t need any gifts from Rakhi. Rakhi again refuses to take back the machine and tells them to throw it away if they want. Vanraj keeps telling her they don’t need the machine.
Rakhi sees Kavya and thinks that she only wanted to stir up some drama but there’s a wildfire now and Kavya has burned into ashes already. She tells Kavya that, Vanraj is here to only make things right for his wife and obey her from now on.
Vanraj thinks of why Kavya didn’t confront him about talking to Rakhi and is confused. Kinjal and Toshu talk about the changing dynamics between Anupamaa and Vanraj. Toshu thinks that it’s all for the betterment of the family as they would all be happy together.
Anupamaa keeps thinking about how Vanraj defended her. The next day, Baa tells Anupamaa that Vanraj got her a new washing machine. Anupamaa talks to Vanraj and lets him know that he need not have done that. Anupamaa tells him that he need not try to be the husband again as she doesn’t need it. Vanraj tells her that he worries about her and didn’t want her to feel burdened.
Vanraj tries to tell her that he worries about her and knows she works a lot for the family. He wanted to make her feel better and make work easy for her. Anupamaa lets him know that she is not his wife anymore and is only doing the duties.
