The episode of Anupamaa starts with Rakhi telling Baa that it is her duty to do new bahu’s Graha Pravesh. Baa says she doesn’t consider Kavya her bahu and this is a resort not a house. Anupamaa tells Baa and Bapuji that she will see them later. Kavya stops her and shows her mangal sutra. She says that she realised after marriage that a woman is incomplete without a mangal sutra. Anupamaa corrects her saying a wife is incomplete without mangal sutra and not a woman. She says that she removed the mangal sutra and that’s why Kavya could wear it. Rakhi thinks that nobody can beat Anupamaa with sarcastic insults.
Kavya apologises to Baa and says whatever she said was in anger, so they should forgive her as they will be living in the same house. Baa says Kavya is so bad that no one wants to accept her. Kavya says she is not that bad, Baa tells her to ask her husband to perform her aarti and Graha Pravesh. Kavya says even if they don’t do Graha Pravesh she will still enter the house. She holds Vanraj’s hand and walks in. She touches Baa and Bapuji’s feet. Kavya once again apologises to Baa. Baa says that for her Anupamaa is her bahu. Bapuji says for him as well and walks near the door. Vanraj asks where he is going. Bapuji says he came here to attend the wedding but feels suffocated, so will stay with Anupamaa.
Baa goes near Bapuji and says she will go where he will go. Kavya thinks that it’s good they are going. Vanraj pleads with them to stay. Dolly says she can’t stay where Kavya is, Toshu leaves as well. Pakhi tells Vanraj she loves him but can’t stay with her. Vanraj feels sad. Rakhi tells them she won’t stay as she doesn’t want to interfere between newly married couples. Anupamaa opens the door and sees the whole family outside, she takes them in. She goes to bring tea and coffee for everyone. Rakhi tells Kavya that she made everyone leave but his happiness is short-lived as they will come back. Kavya says she knows they will come back but she is Vanraj’s wife now, so she will take control of everything.
Rakhi comes in saying she wants black coffee. Anupamaa says that she needs to stop switching sides. She says Rakhi likes to burn others’ houses for entertainment. Baa says that there is only one room and Rakhi will be disturbed by her snoring. Anupamaa says her family is sitting in peace after so long and Rakhi doesn’t like peace. So she should stay in Kavya’s cottage. Rakhi feels furious that Anupamaa removed her from the cottage. Kavya tells Vanraj to stop being angry as his family will return. He warns her to never threaten his family again.
