The episode of Anupamaa starts with Vanraj telling Kavya that he made a mistake by leaving without informing. But what she did to his family is not justified. He says staying without his family will affect their relationship. Kavya tells him to calm down and not worry as she will bring his family back. Anupamaa tells the family that they might feel uncomfortable sleeping in such a small cottage. Bapuji says her presence is what matters to them. He says they will spread mattresses and sleep. Nandini says it’s a good idea. Baa tells her to go back to her cottage as this room is only for family. Anupamaa says Baa is right, this room is only for the family so Nandini will stay here. Bapuji agrees, Samar gets happy. Samar says Bapuji has come after so long, so they will not sleep early.
Kavya tells Vanraj that their wait is over after nine years, so they should romance tonight. On the other hand, Anupamaa and their family play dumb charades in the cottage. While playing, suddenly Anupamaa collapses. Samar shouts saying mummy, and the whole family gathers around her. Vanraj hears Samar scream and pushes Kavya away to check on Anupamaa. He picks her up and takes her in the ferry car. Rakhi taunts Kavya saying that her husband left her alone on their suhagrat to go to his ex-wife. Rakhi says she stole Anupamaa’s husband, now Anupamaa is stealing her husband. Kavya gets angry and says she hates Anupamaa and her family.
Doctor informs Anupamaa’s condition to Advait. He comes and tells the family that Anupamaa needs urgent surgery. The whole family gets worried. Baa, Bapuji, Nandini, Dolly and Pakhi return to the resort. Kinjal comes and asks Toshu how mummy is. Toshu says she will be fine. Kinjal starts crying, Rakhi comes and asks her why she travelled at night. Kinjal says she couldn’t stop after hearing mummy’s condition. Rakhi says that only two people are allowed in the hospital, so Vanraj and Samar will be staying. She tells Kinjal to come with her to her cottage. Kinjal says she will stay with her family, which angers Rakhi.
Samar asks Advait about Anupamaa’s condition. He says Anupamaa had internal bleeding for two days, but didn’t tell anyone. So she needs a blood transfusion. Anupamaa’s blood group is O+ which is difficult to get. So Advait asks if anyone from their family has the same blood group. Rakhi taunts Kavya saying that Anupamaa was fine some time back, but it’s strange she suddenly fell ill. She says even God is behind Kavya’s happiness. Rakhi tells her that this is just the beginning and more is about to come.
