The episode of Anupamaa starts with Baa doing Anupamaa’s aarti. Bapuji removes Anupamaa’s nameplate from his bag and puts it on the door. Anupamaa gets emotional remembering the time Vanraj kicked her out of the house. Rakhi tells Baa that she should perform new bahu’s aarti as well. Baa gives Dolly the aarti thali. Dolly calls Vanraj, Kavya comes as well for the aarti. While entering Kavya steps on the garland by mistake and breaks it. Kinjal tells Anupamaa to go open the temple door, Anupamaa is hesitant. Kavya says as new bahu it’s her right. Anupama tells her to wash her hand and open the door which irritates Kavya.
Anupamaa goes to make tea and coffee for the family. Kavya tells her to wash her hand as well before making tea. Anupamaa says she was going to do it. Kavya tells her that she is the new bahu and the house belongs to her. Anupamaa says the house was hers for 25 years and will be hers. She tells Kavya that she is new in the house so should learn how to behave. Kavya tells her that her attitude has changed after getting the house. First, she was like a servant in the house but is acting like a boss now. Anupamaa tells her that a woman can be Bahu too and she should try doing that. Vanraj tells Kavya she should act as a bahu as well instead of going around saying it. She is a bahu and not a guest.
Anupamaa enters the kitchen and gets happy. She says that the kitchen is her best friend with who she has shared her happiness and sorrows. Kavya comes in to make coffee. Anupamaa tells her to wait as there is only one pan and she is making tea. Kavya tells Anupamaa that she played well by winning Baa and Bapuji’s trust and secured the house. Anupamaa tells her that she should do the same and win the world. Vanraj comes to his room and wonders how will he live in the same house as Anupamaa.
Samar informs the family that Advait called to ask about Anupamaa. Baa says that Advait should call every day as traveling was peaceful but it will be difficult to stay with Kavya. Rakhi tells Kavya that she should get used to taunts. What Anupamaa does is everything for the family while what she does is useless. She says that Kavya is all alone while Anupamaa has the whole family with her. Kavya says it’s good Bapuji brought Anupamaa back, now she will not have to worry about cooking and household chores. Dolly says bye to everyone. Kavya tells her that she should call her bhabhi as Anupamaa is not her bhabhi anymore. Dolly says that Anupamma earned her respect for 25 years and she will always consider her as her bhabi.
