The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kinjal praising Dolly for giving a befitting reply to Kavya. Dolly bids farewell and leaves. Nandini tells Anupamaa to rest. Rakhi asks which will be Anupamaa’s room. Pakhi says mummy can sleep with her. Anupamaa says her room is on the first floor which belongs to Vanraj and Kavya, so she can’t stay there. Anupamaa goes to the storeroom and says this will be her room. Baa asks why she wants to stay in a run-down room. Anupamaa says she will make this corner the most beautiful place in the house. Vanraj has a headache, Kavya offers to massage and says his family is the reason for his headache. Vanraj says his family as well as his wife. Kavya tells Vanraj to not vent his anger on her.
Kavya tells him that she knows he is tensed because Bapuji gave the share of the house to Anupamaa. She says Anupamaa pretends to be independent and resilient but she shamelessly took the house. Anupamaa manipulated Bapuji and took away the house. She keeps provoking Vanraj against Anupamaa saying she will soon take over the house as Dolly is on her side as well. Vanraj thinks how can Bapuji be so foolish. Kavya says after the divorce Anupamaa got her freedom, her family as well a house, nobody gets to be as lucky as Anupamaa. Vanraj feels frustrated and walks away. Kavya thinks she will keep pestering him and slowly her words will affect him.
Anupamaa and the children start cleaning the room. Children turn the room into a beautiful place and shift Anupamaa’s stuff. Anupamaa gets happy seeing her new room. Pakhi puts Anupamaa’s tag on the room. Anupamaa thanks her and they take a selfie together.
Kavya thinks finally Anupamaa’s room is hers, she can now decorate it the way he wants. Kavya sees Anupamaa’s old stuff and throws it in the dustbin. She sees a family picture and throws it in the dustbin and keeps hers and Vanraj’s picture there.
A delivery boy comes to deliver salad. Baa opens the door and asks who ordered cattle food. She says she will throw it to the monkeys. The delivery boy says it is for 700 Rs. Baa get shocked, Anupamaa comes and tells her it must be for Kavya. Kavya comes and takes the food, she says it’s for her and Vanraj. Baa asks why is she feeding raw vegetables to Vanraj. Baa says when Vanraj feels hungry he can come and eat real food. Kavya asks Anupamaa if she has made food for Vanraj as well. Baa says there is no name written on food, anyone can have it. Kavya shouts at Anupamaa to stop making food for Vanraj. Anupamaa says she is not her sautan, so should stop taunting her.
