The episode of Anupamaa starts with Geeta asking Anupamaa if she will vent anger on her. Anupamaa says that she can either be wrong or be the victim. She says whatever happened today shouldn’t have become such a big issue, she advises Geeta to spread love rather than putting fire in whichever house she goes to. Geeta says she would love to work with Anupamaa in future. Geeta only takes one day’s salary and leaves another behind. Kavya complains to Vanraj that she got a maid with so much difficulty but Anupamaa fired her. Vanraj says hiring a maid is easy but managing her is hard. Kavya should learn to compete with Anupamaa in serving Baa and Bapuji than in arguments. Kavya thinks that if she wants to win the battle she has to control the man.
Baa has a headache, Anupamaa brings tea and massages her head. Baa says that it’s been a few days and Kavya has turned the house into a battlefield. Anupamaa says the fights are because of her as no woman will want another woman living with her husband’s family. Baa feeds sweet curd to Vanraj as good luck for his first day at the job. She encourages him to work hard and do his best. Kinjal tells Anupamaa to bring the ingredients for pooja as she is unaware of it. Kavya asks which pooja. Kinjal says vat Savitri.
Anupamaa explains that on this day the wife fasts for the husband’s good health and their long relationship. Kavya taunts that Anupamaa’s fasts must have failed since their relationship broke. Baa says if Anupamaa fasts would have failed Vanraj wouldn’t be alive and reminds her about his accident. Kavya says from now on she will fast for Vanraj. During dinner Anupamaa makes Kinjal eat more food as she is fasting tomorrow. Toshu says even he is fasting. Baa says that during their time men would not fast. Anupamaa says that now men and women share equal responsibilities, so fasting should also be for both of them.
Bapuji comes and says he is even planning to fast for Baa. Kavya says that she, Kinjal and Baa should wear clothes matching their husband’s clothes. She tells Anupamaa that she should go to her mother’s house as she will get jealous seeing her and Vanraj and put an evil eye on their relationship. Anupamaa says that she is not Kavya to eye on other people’s relationship and Kavya shouldn’t be Anupamaa to let another woman destroy her marriage. Later Baa sees Anupamaa sad. Anupamaa says she lost one relationship but lost so many rituals and festivals.
