The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa saving Kavya from falling and breaking the thread. Samar asks Baa why mummy always helps Kavya. Baa says Anupamaa is a good-hearted woman. Later Baa asks Anupamaa if her heart is made of iron that she helps Kavya even when she misbehaves with her. Anupamaa says pain is on one side and humanity on the other. Baa praises her that she is too good for the world, Anupamaa tells her to not praise her so much. Vanraj takes Kavya home and tells her to take care. Kavya thanks Vanraj for saving her from falling. Vanraj says it’s Anupamaa who saved her and not him. He says he came home for a break and goes back to work. Baa comes and gives Kavya a gift.
Kavya thanks and asks if she will accept her as bahu. Baa asks if she has accepted her as her saas. Baa tells her to give a miss call if she needs anything. Kavya thinks that Anupamaa became great in everyone’s eye for helping her. Vanraj while leaving thanks Anupamaa for helping Kavya. Anupamaa says she wore the mangalsutra for 25 years and knows what happens if a woman breaks the thread. Anupamaa says she did it for a wife who loves her husband. Kavya’s leg is paining so she gives a miss call to Baa. Anupamaa comes as Baa is doing pooja. She gives an ointment to Kavya.
Kavya tells Anupamaa to apply it for her as she can’t bend. Kavya pretends to be in pain while applying. Anupamaa applies ointment for Kavya. Kavya clicks a picture and sends it to Rakhi saying she made her ex-samdhan serve her. Kavya tells Anupamaa to apply the ointment to her soul as well. Anupamaa tells Kavya if she wants to clicks pictures she can look at them and make her pain go away. She tells Kavya to fight with a person who wants to fight.
During dinner, Bapuji asks Vanraj how was his first day at work. Vanraj says it’s a youngster’s place but he feels happy working there. Bapuji says he should work where he feels happy. Kavya says happiness is one thing and career is another. She says people will call him a loser for working in a cafeteria after being a part of the corporate world. Samar tells Kavya to not call Vanraj a loser as he is working hard even at this age, she should appreciate his efforts instead. Kinjal informs that she and Kavya cracked a really important deal. Kinjal asks for Vanraj’s help, he happily agrees. Kavya taunts that Vanraj will be busy selling coffee.
