The episode of Anupamaa starts with Pakhi selecting a song for the event dance performance and plays it in front of Anupamaa. Anupamaa says that she has heard the song on the radio and asks Pakhi if she wants to rehearse that song. Pakhi thanks Anupamaa for supporting Vanraj and says she saw Vanraj smiling after days. Anupamaa says Pakhi is small but understands everything. Pakhi says she is happy that Anupamaa and Vanraj are staying in one house, even after their divorce. She hopes Vanraj stays peacefully with Kavya and hopes all dreams of his come true. Anupamaa says all his family members are with Vanraj.
Anupamaa gets tea for everyone. Kinjal asks Baa if Toshu is home. Toshu comes with Rakhi. Baa asks Rakhi to come on 22nd August, on official Rakhi day. Rakhi says she doesn’t like jokes. Baa says she doesn’t like Rakhi. Kinjal asks Rakhi why she has come. Rakhi says she has transferred the penthouse on Kinjal and Toshu’s name. Baa asks Toshu if they are shifting. Kinjal says they have not decided yet. Toshu says they are shifting.
Vanraj asks Anupamaa if she knew about it. Kavya tries to say something but Vanraj stops her. Anupamaa says she heard Rakhi and Kinjal’s conversation and then suggested Kinjal to do what she feels like. Anupamaa says it is better to stay separately and not suffocate. Toshu and Kinjal start arguing. Anupamaa asks Toshu and Kinjal to discuss it in their room.
Baa asks Anupamaa how she can support Toshu when he is trying to break the house. Anupamaa says what is the use of staying in the house if they are not happy. Toshu says it’s a big family and Kinjal is busy working and later in the kitchen too. He says he needs some privacy with Kinjal which he doesn’t get in the house. Anupamaa stops Toshu and says even Samar had to leave his room when Kinjal came, but he did not think about his privacy.
Rakhi asks Toshu and Kinjal just to have a look at the penthouse and then decide if they want to stay separately or not. They agree. Toshu and Kinjal leave with Rakhi. Anupamaa cries imagining Toshu and Kinjal leaving the house. Bapuji says while Toshu and Kinjal have gone to see the house, they should go to Anupamaa’s Academy and check the decors. Kavya says she is not in the mood and leaves. Pakhi goes to complete her project.
Vanraj tells Anupamaa that Rakhi took over Toshu once, but will not let her take over Toshu again.
