The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa taking Nandini’s phone to call Pakhi. Kinjal and Toshu come there. Baa asks them why they did not go home and have come into the Academy. Bapuji asks Kinjal and Toshu if they saw the penthouse. Kinjal says they saw the penthouse and liked it but they are not moving in for now. Kinjal says now they should focus on Anupamaa’s Academy and Vanraj’s cafe. Anupamaa calls Pakhi but Pakhi is busy dancing with Kavya. Pakhi says her dance could be better if Anupamaa was there. Kavya tells Pakhi that for Anupamaa, Samar and Nandini are first, then Kinjal-Toshu and at last she comes. Kavya thinks she will create problems between Anupamaa and Pakhi and separate them.
Anupamaa tells Baa that she couldn’t contact Pakhi, so she has to rush home. Everyone leaves with Anupama. They come home and see Pakhi dancing with Kavya. Anupamaa claps and says Pakhi dances so well. Anupamaa apologises to Pakhi as she is late. Pakhi says at least Kavya made time for her. Samar asks Pakhi how she can talk to Anupamaa in such a way. Pakhi says Anupamaa could have called her. Anupamaa says she couldn’t call her due to a network issue. Pakhi says she could have borrowed someone else’s phone.
Kinjal says Kavya couldn’t manipulate her so now she is manipulating Pakhi. Pakhi starts arguing with Samar. Toshu asks them to stop and asks Pakhi to apologize. Pakhi says she will not apologize. Anupamaa apologizes to Pakhi and says she will teach her dance now. Pakhi says she doesn’t want to learn from Anupamaa, and Kavya will teach her.
Later, Anupamaa sadly is working in the kitchen. Kavya comes and taunts Anupamaa that she couldn’t become a good wife nor a good mother. Anupamaa asks Kavya to become a mother and get to know the responsibility. Anupamaa warns Kavya not to come in between mother and daughter. Kavya leaves to select Pakhi’s costume.
The next day, Kavya asks Pakhi if she dances well. Pakhi says Kavya is a good dancer. Kavya says she thought Anupamaa was the best. Samar says Kavya dances well, but Anupamaa is the best. Kavya challenges Anupamaa to compete with her. Anupamaa accepts the challenge.
