The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya receiving a call. The man informs her that her name is shortlisted for a job. Kavya talks rudely to that person and says that she will do the job only if they offer her more salary than she gets, or else she is not interested. Baa and Bapuji hear her conversation. Bapuji says that Kavya can accept the job now and later her salary will get increased with her performance. Kavya says she is educated and deserves a better job. She says she will get a better job soon. Bapuji says even Vanraj said that. Kavya asks Bapuji not to counsel her if he doesn’t know anything. Bapuji says Kavya can even deny simply and not be rude to him.
Vanraj comes him. Kavya goes to talk to him. Vanraj straight away goes into his room. Anupamaa returns home. Kavya gets jealous of seeing her. She goes into her room. She asks Vanraj if something is wrong. Vanraj says everything is fine. Kavya thinks something is wrong as Anupamaa also was lost.
Everyone gathers at the dinner table. Baa asks Kinjal why Toshu came late. Samar tells Baa that Toshu is working for a new branch. Bapuji asks where is Kavya. Kinjal says Kavya will come in some time. Kavya searches for the reason Anupamaa and Vanraj are disturbed. Samar and Pakhi start arguing as Pakhi is rude to him. Baa asks Vanraj why he is upset.
Kavya comes and says that she will tell everyone the reason. Vanraj asks Kavya not to create a scene. Kavya says they have to pay Rs 20 lakhs property tax which was pending. Everyone gets shocked. Kavya says the karkhana was on Bapuji’s name and he did not pay attention. Kavya says Bapuji is very irresponsible and due to that they have to pay all the tax. Vanraj yells at Kavya and asks her to behave. Kavya asks where will get the money from.
Rakhi says she will help. Rakhi says the only person who can give them a loan is her. Rakhi says the Shah family are beggars and like to beg all the time. She asks Anupamaa to fall on her feet and then she will give them money. Anupamaa says if the time comes she will fall on Rakhi’s feet to take money from her, but right now they don’t need her help.
