The episode of Anupamaa starts with Bapuji asking Anupamaa to go to school on her own. He locks the door and warns all the family members not to go to the annual function. Kavya continues provoking Pakhi. Pakhi cries and says she hates Anupamaa. They leave, Anupamaa knocks on the door. Bapuji says he will not listen to Anupamaa. Anupamaa talks to Bapuji from their window. Anupamaa says Bapuji forgot what he taught them. She says today is a very important day for Pakhi and this day she will always remember. Anupamaa says Pakhi wants her family to see the dance and if she will not see her family from the stage, she will be all alone. Anupamaa asks Bapuji to come to see Pakhi’s performance and remove his anger some other day. Bapuji says Samar and Nandini can go with Anupamaa and Vanraj can go to see Pakhi and Kavya’s performance. Bapuji says he and the rest members will not come to the Annual function. Anupamaa leaves with Samar and Nandini.
They reach the school. Anupamaa meets her students. The students say they have rehearsed once before Anupamaa arrived and says their performance will be the best. Kavya gets a call. She goes out of the room as there is a network issue. Anupamaa asks her students to get ready. Pakhi also wears her costume. She thinks her costume is very uncomfortable and informs Kavya about it. Kavya says they cannot change the costume now.
Pakhi asks Kavya to alter it. Kavya says they don’t have much time, she needs to get ready and for her makeup, she needs at least 40 minutes. Kavya asks Pakhi to start her make-up. Anupamaa asks Samar to meet Pakhi. Samar goes to Pakhi. Pakhi smiles and asks if everyone has come. Samar says he and Nandini have come; Pakhi gets upset. Kavya says Anupamaa could have convinced Bapuji to come, but she didn’t. Samar leaves.
Anupamaa, Samar and Nandini help their students in their makeup. Kavya asks Pakhi to help her do the curls and also asks her to get water. Pakhi leaves. She passes through Anupamaa’s room and sees her feeding other kids.
Later, Anupamaa gets ready and worries about Pakhi. Anupamaa goes to check on Pakhi. Pakhi is struggling to do her makeup and Kavya is busy doing her own makeup. Anupamaa asks a teacher to help Pakhi. Kavya gets a call, so she leaves. The teacher comes and applies eyeliner and asks Pakhi to keep her eyes closed. Anupamaa comes and ties her hair and hides. Kavya comes there.
After the teacher leaves, Kavya scolds Pakhi for not waiting for her to arrive and took the teachers’ help. She asks Pakhi to apologise. Pakhi says sorry.
