The episode of Anupamaa starts with Pakhi asking Anupamaa what is she doing there. Anupamaa apologises to Pakhi for not going home. She said she tried to go home, but couldn’t go as she wanted to see Pakhi’s dance. She asks Pakhi where is Kavya. Pakhi says Kavya ditched her at the last moment and left. Anupamaa says how can Kavya do such when she knew the performance was important to Pakhi. Anupamaa gets angry with Kavya and says only 5 minutes are left. The technical issues get resolved and the host announces that today’s last dance performance will be by Pakhi and Kavya.
Pakhi panics. She hugs and apologises to Anupamaa for being rude to her. Anupamaa says she will perform with Pakhi. Pakhi says they have not practised the dance. Anupamaa says they will perform the same dance which they performed on mother’s day when Pakhi was small. Pakhi agrees. Anupamaa calls Samar and asks him to change the song.
The stage lights get off. Anupamaa and Pakhi take their positions. Vanraj thinks his girls will rock. The light gets on and the music starts. Everyone gets shocked to see Anupamaa with Pakhi. Anupamaa and Pakhi dance. Samar and Nandini smile and think Pakhi realised her mistake. After the dance, all the audience start talking. Pakhi takes the mic and apologises to Anupamaa for what she has done. Pakhi says that she performed with Anupamaa instead of Kavya, she broke the rule so she will be disqualified but she got her mother back. Anupamaa hugs Pakhi.
The host says that Anupamaa and Pakhi are disqualified as they broke the rule. All the audience and judge say that they will not disqualify them. Anupamaa and Pakhi get happy.
Later, the judge announces the winners. Anupamaa and her students get awards for their ribbon dance and Pakhi and Anupamaa win the prize for best senior level dance. Anupamaa and Pakhi go to take the award. Anupamaa sees Kavya and gets her on stage. Vanraj hopes Anupamaa doesn’t do anything. Baa thinks Anupamaa will slap Kavya in front of everyone.
