The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kinjal asking Toshu to stop as he is crossing the limits. Toshu tells Kinjal that she knows socialising is very important in their profession but still he cannot call his colleagues and friends at home as he knows Baa and Bapuji will create problems if his friends demand Non-veg or alcohol. Vanraj warns Toshu. Toshu says he cannot tell anyone about Samar’s profession as he is just a normal dancer. Samar says Toshu’s friends are doing nothing on their own, they are just handling their father’s business. Toshu yells at Samar, Pakhi and Nandini. He says Pakhi is very selfish, Nandini is not yet married to Samar but she is in their house all day.
Toshu says that he got married to a modern girl but his family made his wife a typical behenji. Anupamaa asks Toshu to stop. Toshu says if he starts talking about Anupamaa then his list will never end. He says that Kavya has arrived now but their house is always having fights because of Anupamaa. Vanraj’s anger gets triggered and he slaps Toshu.
Vanraj holds Toshu and says he could have discussed everything with Baa and Bapuji but he chose to insult them. Vanraj says Baa, Bapuji and Mamaji are old, but they try to change and Toshu will never be able to understand them. He says on Mother’s feet there is heaven and on father’s feet, there are sandals. Vanraj asks Toshu to understand his mistakes and not repeat them or Vanraj will have to take out his sandal and then teach him, which is not good.
Vanraj says that he regrets calling Toshu his favourite son as he insulted his family today. Vanraj says he used to taunt Samar, but till date Samar did not do anything bad like what Toshu did. Toshu says he cannot live in that house as he feels suffocated. Vanraj asks Toshu to leave the house and get free from suffocating. Toshu goes into his room. Kinjal goes to Toshu. Toshu says they are leaving and Kinjal will not say anything about it. Kinjal says she always wanted a family but now have to choose between family and love. Toshu says he will not force Kinjal to come with him, but he is leaving. Kinjal cries as she has a difficult choice to make.
Meanwhile, Baa, Bapuji and Mamaji say they will go to Jamnagar and live there so that their family will stay happy here. Vanraj and Anupamaa beg in front of them and ask them not to leave the house. Bapuji agrees and says that from today they will not trouble anyone.
