The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa returning home and coming to know from Baa that Bapuji has gone to collect lent money he had given to relatives. Vanraj asks why did Bapuji go. Baa says that a mother can give her life for children and a father can give up his dignity. Kavya says Bapuji created the problem so he should solve it. Vanraj tells her to shut up. Anupamaa informs the family about taking a business loan by mortgaging the property. Baa hopes that Bapuji at least gets 1.5-2 lakhs. Anupamaa says they can sell the jewellery and collect 4-5 lakhs and take a loan from friends and relatives. Vanraj says they will have to pay huge interest for business loans. Anupamaa says they have to flap their hands and legs when they are drowning.
Kinjal is working when Dholakia walks very close to her, she stands up in shock. Kinjal says she listens to music when she is stressed. He lustfully tells her to share her problems with him. Kinjal excuses herself and walks away. At home, Anupamaa gets worried when Kinjal doesn’t return home at 10:30 p.m. Vanraj says he will go looking for her. Kinjal comes out of the car crying. Anupamaa and Vanraj ask what happened, she says she fought with Toshu. Vanraj says he will talk with Toshu, Kinjal apologises for sharing her problems with them and goes away. Anupamaa tells Vanraj that something is wrong with Kinjal.
Kinjal gets tensed when she gets a voice message and relaxes hearing Toshu’s message. She then gets more tensed seeing Dholakia’s message next. After some time Anupamaa comes into Kinjal’s room to give her milk. Kinjal pretends to be asleep. Anupamaa thinks she must be tired and pampers her and goes away. The next morning Anupamaa sees Nandini and Samar arguing on the road and bring them home to ask what happened. Nandini says Samar has got a big offer from an international event management company to choreograph high profile weddings and other events, but he doesn’t want to go.
Samar says he doesn’t want to leave his family for one year. Anupamaa asks him what is the real reason. Samar says he and mom dreamed of starting the academy together and he doesn’t want to leave mom alone. Kavya says if he is so worried for the family then he should accept the offer and repay his family loan. Vanraj tells Kavya that it is not Samar’s responsibility to pay the loan. He says Samar can take the offer only if he wishes to.
