The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kinjal coming to the office apologising to Dholakia and telling him that she misunderstood him. She asks him to not remove her from the project. Dholakia says he will not lose a pretty girl like her. But she has to do some compromises such as working till late nights, going on outstation trips with him, and today she has to go out for dinner with him wearing a short dress. Kinjal’s expression changes quickly and tells him that it’s his time to cry now. She shows a live call with Anupamaa. She gets a flashback where she recalls telling Anupamaa that they should take a stand against Dholakia. The whole family along with Kavya and Toshu join her to fight Dholakia. Anupamaa enters into Dholakia‘s cabin recording him. He hides his face with a handkerchief. Anupamaa tells Kinjal to remove the handkerchief and calls the whole family, who comes in and records him.
Kinjal tells Dholakia that even girls are eve teased and molested even in posh companies. Rakhi tells Dholakia that he should have thought about it before eve-teasing a rich girl. Anupamaa says no girl should go through it whether rich or poor. Rakhi says she will make Dholakia’s life a living hell. Other family members lash out at him. Dholakia tells Vanraj that he did the same thing with Kavya. Kavya says he will not understand love. Dholakia says a family where wife and ex-wife stay together and fight every day cant teach him morals. Dholakia threatens that he will ruin Kinjal’s career. Anupamaa slaps him. Baa says that his act has been recorded live.
Dholakia gets angry and tries to slap Kinjal. Vanraj warns him to not touch his daughter. Kinjal calls other female colleagues who testify that Dholakia stopped their promotion when they didn’t compromise with him. Dholakia tries to run but Samar catches him. The family trashes Dholakia for his heinous act. Vanraj says it’s time to take action and encourage girls to stand up against such actions. Kinjal says she is glad she took Anupamaa’s suggestion and took action or else she would have repented all her life. The senior Manager informs Anupamaa that their office has zero-tolerance against sexual assault, so she can file a complaint against Dholakia. Kinjal thanks the manager. Anupamaa says everyone should raise their voice against people like Dholakia.
In the evening Samar informs the family that their video on Dholakia received 50 thousand views. Kavya feels sad as she lost her job. Mamaji says God will give her another job. Kinjal thanks the family for supporting her, she prays everyone gets a family like hers. Vanraj says no one will take Dholakia’s name in this house now. Mamaji says there is something special tomorrow. Pakhi says it’s Independence day. Vanraj says it’s mamaji’s birthday tomorrow. The family discusses their surprise plan for tomorrow.
