The episode of Anupamaa starts with Mamaji cutting the cake. Pakhi tells him to make a wish. Mamaji says this is his best birthday and he will never forget it. Toshu apologises to his parents for humiliating them. He says he has big dreams and ambitions but insulting his family to achieve them is wrong. Anupamaa hugs him. Vanraj tells Toshu that they want him to succeed and achieve his dreams. Toshu says that Kinjal was right when she said their conscience pricks them when they do wrong. He apologises to Kinjal and promises to never force her to shift. Rakhi gets angry thinking that she thought once Toshu moves out even Kinjal will, but all her efforts are in vain.
Kavya tells her that Toshu is Vanraj’s son and she being his girlfriend and wife was unable to separate him from his family. She says Rakhi is Toshu’s mother in law so it is impossible for her. Toshu and Pakhi feel bad for calling Samar a loser and apologise to him. Vanraj says Samar is not a loser but an obedient son who always fights for his mother. Even Toshu and Pakhi agree that Samar always protects their mother when they can’t. Samar gets emotional and hugs them. Rakhi tells Toshu if he doesn’t want to shift to the penthouse then she will convert it to the company’s guest house.
Vanraj says the family has no problem with Toshu and Kinjal shifting. Kavya says they should be happy wherever they go. The family celebrates Mamaji’s birthday by dancing together. Rakhi thinks as long as Anupamaa is there she can’t break Shah family, even her pawn Toshu was of no use. She thinks she should plan something else. Rakhi offers a job to Kavya saying the workload is less and the salary is double but she has to convince Vanraj. Anupama asks Samar if they got a loan sent message from the bank, he says no.
Rakhi bids farewell to Kinjal, while leaving Toshu apologises for not answering her question. Rakhi says she got his answer, she advises him that to achieve big dreams he has to lose something. Anupamaa while working hears about a fraud happening in the name of loans, but doesn’t pay attention to it. The next day Kavya sees Vanraj chatting with Anupamaa, she walks to ask her about the loan. Anupamaa tells it’s is not sent yet. Kavya tells Anupamaa to hurry up.
Rakhi is angry in her office thinking she thought Kinjal will take over the business but Kinjal is not determined like her. She thinks Anupamaa needs to be defeated soon. Kavya tells Vanraj about the job offer but he doesn’t give permission. He says Rakhi is a good businesswoman but she can ruin relations. She manipulated Toshu, Kavya says she is not like Toshu. But Vanraj is not ready to listen.
