The episode of Anupamaa starts with Baa calling Kavya and asking her to make sweets together as it is Raksha Bandhan. Kavya refuses to prepare sweets. Nandini goes to talk with Anupamaa who is making rakhi. Anupamaa tells her to ask Samar if the business loan amount is transferred to her account. Nandini tells her to relax as the money will be transferred. Samar comes home panicking and tells Anupamaa that money is sent from the bank but not transferred into her account. Anupamaa gets worried and goes to the cafe to inform Vanraj. Vanraj’s cafe chef Vinod meets with an accident, so he rushes to the hospital. Anupamaa is unable to find Vanraj, so tells Samar to call Bapuji but his phone is switched off.
Anupamaa gets so tensed that she vomits. Samar gives her water. Anupamaa says they have to inform the family no matter what. Baa forces Kavya to prepare laddu with her. Vanraj returns home and informs that Vinod met with an accident but he is fine now. Kavya asks Vanraj about the loan. He says he was busy in the hospital so couldn’t ask Anupamaa. Anupamaa, Samar and Nandini return home. Anupamaa sees Baa and Vanraj happily talking. Vanraj asks Anupamaa if the loan formalities are done. Toshu and Kinjal gather as well.
Vanraj sees Anupamaa tense and senses something is wrong. He asks her what has happened. Anupamaa informs the family that money is sent from the bank but didn’t reach her account. Kavya asks where has the money gone. Vanraj says sometimes it takes time because of technical reasons. Anupamaa says she has become a victim of fraud. She says she took a loan to clear her 20 lakhs property tax. The money is sent by the bank but has not reached them, so now they have a debt of 40 lakhs. Toshu asks her how it all happened.
Anupamaa says the bank executives who came to meet them were frauds. She says Vanraj and Bapuji were not available, so she signed the papers. Vanraj says she could have waited for them. Kavya asks Anupamaa how she can be so careless. Samar says that he was the one who insisted mummy sign. Kavya says he will always support his mother. Vanraj asks how will they manage to get 40 lakhs. Anupamaa apologises. Vanraj says that the municipal corporation will not accept her sorry.
Anupamaa says she has made a mistake, so she will fix it. Vanraj tells Anupamaa he has a 50% share in karkhana and decided to pay 50% property tax. but Anupmaa made a mistake alone, so she will pay for it. He continues to humiliate her.
