The episode of Anupamaa starts with Vanraj going to talk to Baa about the situation. Bapuji stops him saying he will handle Baa. Vanraj says he should support his wife in this situation. Bapuji says he always supported Leela and Vanraj has learned to let go of his wife from someone else and not him. He says he does what is right and Leela loves and accepts him for it. Vanraj asks if they should support Anupamaa. Bapuji says yes, he says he is really sad that they had to mortgage the house. But if Anupamaa had not got the money his kharkana would have been shut. Bapuji goes to console Baa. Baa says she was a bahu in his house before Anupamaa and yet they took such a big decision without informing her. She says they have humiliated her in front of Rakhi by giving her the house. Bapuji says sometimes they need to take tough decisions. Baa says they will solve this together, but if they are unable to take the house back from Rakhi he will see her dead face.
Anupamaa tells Samar and Nandini that she has to somehow return Rakhi’s money. Samar tells her to not over exhaust herself. Vanraj gets a letter addressed to Mr Hashmukh Shah. Vanraj reads and tells Anupamaa that a company wants to buy the karkhana as they are planning to build a 5-star hotel and school. Anupamaa asks if they can deny selling karkhana. He says only fools can deny such an offer as they are ready to pay 5 crores. Anupamaa asks who is it as no one will be ready to pay some without even checking the land. Vanraj informs its Anuj Kapadia.
They return home and inform the family about the offer. Vanraj says he has done a background check on Anuj Kapadia and he is a reputable person. Vanraj tries to convince the family to sell the karkhana. Samar says karkhana is auspicious for Bapuji. Baa says it is, but they also need to solve the problem that Anupamaa has caused. Vanraj says he won’t listen to Bapuji and doesn’t want Anupamaa involved in this. Bapuji asks then why is he asking him. Vanraj says he is telling him as he wants his blessings. Bapuji says karkhana was a gift from his bapuji, but now selling it is the only option they have. Vanraj gets happy and says he will meet Anuj Kapadia tomorrow itself.
Kavya gets happy and says this will solve all their problems. Vanraj says he can start a new cafe, invest in his children and also get the house back. Baa comes to Bapuji and asks if he is sad that they have to sell the karkhana. Bapuji says he doesn’t value sand and stones and does what is beneficial for his children. Baa asks why does he look sad. Bapuji says he used to work with his father in that karkhana, he says he is glad it will benefit his children. Baa says he is sad as he is losing something valuable to him. Anupamaa sees this and cries. Samar consoles her, she says she feels bad that she made Baa and Bapuji cry.
