The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa not knowing how to open a laptop. Anuj helps Anupamaa. Anuj suggests Anupamaa share her idea verbally if she is not comfortable sharing through the presentation. Anupamaa says her daughter-in-law took a lot of effort and has made the presentation, so she will explain it through the presentation. Anuj asks Anupamaa to start her presentation. Anupamaa says that she doesn’t know more about the hotel. Kavya tries to humiliate her by saying a hotel is a place where people go stay, relax and enjoy food. Anupamaa says she will talk about food.
Anupamaa says a guest remembers a hotel by its food, so they should keep a person who cooks good food. Kavya says that person is called a chef. Anupamaa says a mother is the best chef. Kavya thinks Anupamaa started her thepla-giri. Anupamaa says a mother has more experience than a chef and can cook better food than a chef. Kavya says that a chef has to care about his guest and also have to take care of the reviews. Anupamaa says for a woman, her mother-in-law gives the right and best review.
Anupamaa tells Anuj that he should keep one day in his hotel where everyone will treat the hotel guest like a mother. Anuj thinks his mother used to say the same. Anuj says Anupamaa and Vanraj-Kavya’s ideas are good and will need some time to think. Kavya asks Anuj to take his time and then do call them. Vanraj and Kavya leave. Anuj stops Anupamaa. Vanraj gets jealous. Anuj gives Anupamaa her tiffin and asks her if she will make more cake for him. Anupamaa says she will make and send with Samar.
Anupamaa opens the tiffin and sees Imlie in it. Anuj says he still remembers that Anupamaa and Dimple used to like Imlie in college days. Anupamaa thanks Anuj for reminding her college days and leaves. Vanraj asks Anupamaa what Anuj had to talk about in private. Anupamaa tells Vanraj that Anuj was returning her tiffin.
Later, Baa asks Kavya what happened in the meeting. Kavya says she did the presentation well, but Anupamaa came and did her presentation of desi ideas. Kavya says if she would have been in Anuj’s place, she would have not heard the idea also. Anupamaa asks Kavya to leave everything on Kanhaji.
