The episode of Anupamaa starts with Toshu stopping Anuj from entering the dance academy. He says students will be disturbed, so they will send pictures of kharkana to him. Anupamaa asks Toshu to behave as Anuj is their guest. Toshu asks Anupamaa why she served Anuj food instead of sending the waiter. Anuj tells him to behave with his mother. Toshu says she is his mother and he shouldn’t tell him what to do. Anuj walks out of the karkhana saying he won’t buy this karkhana and won’t even let anyone buy it. Kavya yells at him for ruining everything. Toshu gets a message and comes out of his imagination. Anupamaa takes Anuj to show the dance academy. Toshu says it’s becoming too much as Anuj came home yesterday and now visited karkhana. Kavya says how else will they be friends with Anuj. She says they need to make their friendship stronger with Anuj to solve their problems.
Anuj meets Samar and Nandini and advises them to not fight. He sees Anupamaa’s frame on the wall and clicks a picture of it reciting a Shayari. Anupamaa comes and asks if he talks to himself. He says he does when he is alone. He praises the academy, Anupamaa says it’s Samar and Nandini’s hard work and Bapuji’s blessings. Anuj thinks she is so selfless. Vanraj is waiting outside thinking what is taking them so long. Rakhi gets happy seeing him jealous. Anupamaa shows Anuj the way out. While going she asks if he felt bad that she asked him to pay. Anuj says he is building a restaurant so would have felt bad if he didn’t pay.
While walking, Anuj trips, Anupamaa holds him and then she goes to fall. Anuj holds her, they both laugh. Anuj sits in his car looking at Anupamaa’s picture. Vanraj sees everything, he thinks once the deal is finalized he won’t let Anuj enter his house. Anuj dreams of Anupama and him spending time together. He wakes up and calls GK. He says earlier he used to see Anupamaa dancing around and talking with Devika but now he saw her in his life. GK asks what’s wrong with that. Anuj says he doesn’t want to interfere in Anupamaa’s happy life. He says he was happy with his one-sided love. GK says when fate is giving him a chance he should take it. At home, Baa tells Anupamaa to oil her swing handles. Bapuji comes home with GK and Anuj.
Bapuji says he met Anuj and GK at the jalebi shop, so forcefully brought them home. Anuj gives jalebi packets to Anupamaa and follows her to the kitchen. Toshu, Kavya and Vanraj return from their morning walk. They see Anuj at their house. Toshu says it’s getting too much and asks Vanraj if he isn’t going to do anything. Vanraj says Anuj is Anupamaa’s friend, so he can’t do anything. Toshu says he won’t let this happen.
