The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa asking Anuj to click her picture on the flight. He clicks and tells her to see, Anupamaa sees it and says she is looking beautiful. She says this picture is better than the one she clicked in the studio for her wedding. Anuj thinks beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Anupamaa says she will call Bapuji before the flight takes off. Anuj offers her his phone as her phone is in her bag. Kavya asks Vanraj why he is so tensed. He disagrees with her. Kavya says that they both came together when they both went to a business conference and were lonely, so he fears the same will happen in the case of Anuj and Anupamaa. Vanraj denies Kavya’s thoughts. Anupamaa calls Bapuji and tells him about her experience in business class. Anupamaa excitingly says she is going to fly now. She thanks Anuj and God for this opportunity. Anuj asks if she is not scared for the flight to take off, Anupamaa says she is very happy.
Kavya keeps prompting Vanraj that he is fearful of history repeating itself. She asks when Anupamaa is not his wife anymore why is he feeling insecure. Vanraj agrees that he is feeling insecure. He says he feels insecure about Anuj and Anupamaa’s friendship and is arm wrestling with Anuj like a kid. He says he hates to see himself like this. Anupmaa and Anuj’s flight takes off, she enjoys looking outside the window. Vanraj says he may have 1000 problems with Anupamaa but no one can question her character. She has a clean heart and when she says there is nothing between her and Anuj it’s the truth. He says his mind can accept it but his heart can’t. He says he didn’t like Anupamaa when they were married but there is an attachment that he can’t break off. Kavya says she can tolerate his attachment but nothing more than that.
Anuj looks nervous. So Anupamaa asks if he didn’t want to come back to India because he is scared of flights, Anuj agrees. Anupamaa tells him to recite Hanuman Chalisa, Anuj smiles. She tells him it’s alright as everyone has some kind of fear. Anuj says men can’t be fearful. Anupamaa says men can have fear too but society makes them feel that they can’t. Rohan sends Samar a picture of him and Nandini getting cosy. Samar gets frustrated saying this is a normal girlfriend and boyfriend picture but Rohan disrespected her privacy by sending it to him. Rohan sends a voice message to Nandini saying Samar might not have a problem with their cosy picture but his traditional family will not tolerate it.
Rohan puts the picture in Baa’s bag when she goes to the market. Anuj tells Anupamaa to enjoy her first flight experience without being bothered by anything. Anupamaa says no man ever said this to her. Anuj goes to sleep while Anupamaa enjoys herself listening to music, sketching etc. The air hostess serves food to Anupamaa and Anuj. Anuj dislikes flight food so Anupamaa offers him her thepla. Anupamaa later falls asleep, so Anuj lowers the ac and puts his blazer on her.
