The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anuj narrating how he reached Anupamaa’s house but Vanraj’s was already there with his baraat. Vanraj asks how did he look in blue sherwani. Anuj says who asks that kind of question to a heartbroken friend. Vanraj apologises and says if he was in Anuj’s place, he would have broken the face of the person who brought Baraat. Anuj says he wished he was in Vanraj’s place. Vanraj asks how can Anuj still love Anupamaa after 26 years. Anuj says how can he forget someone whom God sent in his name. Vanraj says time makes everyone forget everything. Anuj says his heart is clever and wrote Anupamaa’s name with ink pen instead of a pencil. He says he will forever love Anupamaa. Vanraj tells him to stop as it hurts. Anuj requests to not stop him as he has opened up for the first time in 26 years. He repeatedly says he loves Anupamaa. Anupamaa hears it.
Kavya returns and sees Vanraj hugging Anuj saying he loves him. Kavya comments that their brotherhood is not over yet. Anupamaa gives curd to Kavya to feed Vanraj. He resists it and keeps hugging Anuj. Kavya forcefully drags Vanraj to their room. Anupamaa takes Anuj to his room. He says he wants to tell her something, she tells him to say it. He changes his mind and says some other time. Anupamaa feeds him curd which he enjoys eating. She tells him to go to bed, he obeys her and tells her to return to her room. The next morning Baa calls Anupamaa and is frustrated when she doesn’t pick up the call. Anupamaa knocks on Anuj’s door wondering if he would be able to attend the meeting or not.
Anuj opens the door saying he feels lightheaded. Anupamaa asks if he doesn’t remember what happened yesterday, Anuj asks what happened. Rakhi provokes Baa saying Anupamaa must be busy with her new business partner. She says when Parvati steps out of the house she becomes Poo and Anupamaa has gone to a different city. Baa tells her to stop poisoning her mind and get out. Rakhi says this house is hers as well and will only go after talking with Anupamaa and Vanraj. Back at the hotel, Anupamaa asks Anuj if he really doesn’t remember anything. Anuj replies he really doesn’t remember anything.
Vanraj and Kavya walk to them. Anuj asks if something happened yesterday. Kavya says a lot happened and they were inseparable. Vanraj says how come he doesn’t remember what they discussed. Anuj hopes he didn’t discuss anything about Anupamaa. Kavya says it’s good they don’t remember. Vanraj says he doesn’t drink and wonders how did he get drunk. Anuj says he doesn’t drink either and had ordered orange juice. Vanraj says they are leaving and apologises to Anupamaa for spoiling their evening. He taunts if he and Kavya were not here, Anuj’s night would have been memorable. Anupamaa gives Vanraj a befitting reply saying he didn’t take her to parties because she smelled like masalas but he stinks with his low thinking and words, so should stay away from her workplace.
