The episode of Anupamaa starts with Bapuji coming home embarrassed by Vanraj’s evil deeds. Vanraj defends himself by claiming that Anuj had driven him to the point of insanity, and he wanted to show him that he and his family are not for sale; Anuj had exceeded his boundaries, and he wanted to demonstrate his own. Bapuji walks away. Devika discovers Anuj in a panic and inquires as to what has happened. He laments, wondering why just Anupamaa has to endure all the time, and how could Vanraj degrade Anupamaa so frequently; he couldn’t do anything when he saw Anupamaa crying after he saw powerful Anupamaa crumbling, and he simply stood there and observed. Devika urges him to simmer down since Anupamaa is allowing harm to come to her; she is still living in the same house despite her divorce; as friends, they could only remind her what is good and what is bad but not transform her; Anupamaa will never abandon her family and her home.

Anuj claims he asked her to leave the house because he couldn’t stand seeing her cry and spoke what was in his mind. Devika claims he did everything correctly. He claims that all he wants is for Anupamaa to be happy all of the time. Anupamaa arrives back and tells Vanraj how this was the most important day of her life, and that he was there to see it. She says people will try to get hurdles while she is achieving something but cannot stop her from reaching success; she says Vanraj tried to do the same but couldn’t stop her.

Anuj tries to rip the palm-printed paper from his and Anu’s hands. GK intervenes. Anuj claims that he didn’t desire Anu’s hand, but he did like seeing her happy. GK gives him a hug and comforts him. As he shouts and creates drama because he is terrified, Anu apologises to Vanraj for fearing him. He inquires as to whether he is terrified of her. He claims that he is terrified of their quality; he claims that when he first saw her, he saw a wife in her and that the wife always goes behind the husband.

Anupamaa says that a guy may have a degree, but just like a woman may have ladles, children, in-laws, husband’s responsibilities, and a lock of traditions in her legs; he is no longer her husband, and even if he was, he would be unable to accept it, he should get habituated to tolerate it as she will never lag from now on. She says she is doing Shayari in Anuj’s company and laughs.
Anuj hopes Anupamaa is fine. Anupamaa tells Vanraj that he is feeling bad as she is moving ahead without his help. Baa says she is moving ahead holding a stranger man’s hand. Anupamaa asks why didn’t she feel bad when she is staying here with a stranger man for so many days. Baa asks who is a stranger here. Anupamaa says, Vanraj Shah. Kavya says Vanraj is indeed a stranger to Anupamaa. Anupamaa says Vanraj is afraid that she has become independent and is flying high alone; he wouldn’t have been afraid if Anuj looked ugly with a bulging tummy, bald head, he should have become accustomed to tolerating it, as she will never fall behind again. She chuckles and says she works for Anuj’s Shayari company.
Baa says Anupamaa is walking forward holding the hand of an unknown man. Anupamaa wonders why she hasn’t felt bad despite the fact that she is staying with a stranger since days. Vanraj is concerned that Anupamaa has become autonomous and is flying high alone.
He takes a step back and says no matter how high she flies, she will always be smaller than him. Anupamaa says Vanraj will bow his head to view her, and she will always keep her head up. Anupamaa then ends the conversation and leaves.

Anuj waits for Anupamaa in the office the next morning, hoping she is alright. When he enters the cabin door, he finds Anupamaa already seated and going over paperwork. Anupamaa recognises him and greets him. Anuj asks her what is she doing. Anupamaa says she’s trying to figure out what’s going on and wonders if he anticipated she wouldn’t show up today. He declines. Nandini becomes agitated when she sees a hooded T-shirt man at the dance academy and inquires as to who he is. Samar introduces himself and claims that, following the events of yesterday, he believes Rohan is no longer with them and will not bother them. She claims that Rohan will not give up lightly. Rohan can be seen standing close by.

Anuj expresses regret for advising her to leave her home. She claims that anyone would have said the same thing. He tells her that he isn’t anyone and that she should do what makes her happy. She expresses her gratitude for becoming her buddy. She expresses her gratitude for having friends like him and Devika and requests that they begin working immediately. He says, “Of course,” and begins teaching her how to do her job.
