Anupamaa’s passport is checked by Vanraj. They stopped Anupamaa from going to America since she had a passport and determination back then, but they can’t stop her this time. She claims it is her bad luck that she now has to listen to her mother-in-law and even her daughter-in-law. Vanraj says goodbye to his ex-Daughter-in-law and walks away. Leela believes she didn’t let Anupamaa win even with her Mother-in-laws help back before, and she believes her curse would help her this time. She calls her mother, explains her side of the story, and requests that she come as soon as possible to put an end to the saga.
Hasmukh is restless, and seeing everyone having a good time, he excuses himself and goes to get some water. GK approaches him and inquires about the incident. Hashmukh claims that he is unable to handle happiness. Something is going on with GK; he never imagined that Anuj would find pleasure in his life. Hasmukh wipes the sweat from his brow. GK inquires about his well-being. Hasmukh claims to be in the same shape as Dara Singh. Anuj is ritualised by Samar, Toshu, Pakhi, and Kinjal. Over a video call, Anupamaa becomes distraught as she recalls Pakhi and Toshu’s opposition. She believes that a mother is incomplete without her children and is grateful for Pakhi, Toshu, Kinjal, and Samar’s presence. She expresses gratitude to God.
Hasmuk is still uneasy and takes his medication. Anuj is fed rasagulla by Samar and Toshu. Anuj requests Anupamaa to stop them because he won’t be able to fit into his wedding sherwani if they continue. Anu requests more rasgullas from Devika and Malvika. Rasgullas are forced fed to him. Vanraj trains himself to remember Toshu and Pakhi executing Anuj’s ceremony. He is unsure how to react to losing his career, his dignity, or his children; he will not allow Anuj to kidnap his children. Hasmukh informs GK that his daughter would be GK’s bahu in a few days and that he should treat her nicely. GK instructs him to keep this conversation going until bidayi/farewell. Devika quips that GK will appear at the wedding as an enraged phupa/uncle. Nobody will get furious now, according to Malvika, because whomever gets angry during the wedding would be punished with a kambal/blanket parade. Devika wonders what will happen if the bride and groom become enraged. The wedding will be cancelled, according to Malvika. Anuj and Anupamaa become concerned.
With a solemn attitude, Samar informs Anuj that he needs to speak. Anuj becomes agitated. Anuj is asked by Samar, Kinjal, Pakhi, and Toshu to vow that he will always keep their mother happy. Hearing that, Anupama, Anuj, Hasukh, GK, Devika, and Malvika become emotional. Can they have a collective embrace, Anuj asks? Family hugs, they say, and he cheerfully accepts them. They all insist that Anuj dance. Even Anupamaa, according to Anuj, should dance. Anupamaa nods hesitantly. On the song Tujhse Hi Shadi Karoonga…, Anuj dances with everyone. On the other side, Anu dances. Anuj then forces them all to eat his dhokla and other refreshments that he has made. Hasmukh is told by GK that love relationships are stronger than blood links, and that Anuj would keep Anupamaa happy. Hasmukh claims to have faith in his sister-in-law.
Devika and Malvika alert Anuj and inform Hasmukh that Anuj wishes to speak with him about something serious. While cooking, Anupamaa continues to enjoy her dancing. Hasmukh and others return home with a solemn expression on their faces, which she observes. Hasmukh expresses his want to speak when Anuj says something. Anu, concerned, approaches Hasmukh and inquires about the incident. After the dancing performance, Samar claims that Anuj muttered something to Hasmukh. Hasmukh claims that he said something he shouldn’t have spoken. Leela smiles as she thinks of something pleasant. Jignesh dances, claiming that she was duped. Samar inquires if he could keep the secret for a little longer. Hasmukh says Anuj would come to take her out around 11 p.m. Leela resumes her theatrics and refuses to let Anupamaa leave the house at 11 p.m. Hasmukh tells Anupamaa to forget about her and joins the squad. Leela screams at Vanraj, who then walks away. She immediately phones her mother and urges her to come over as soon as possible.
