Anuj kisses Anupamaa’s hand and promises that if he doesn’t kiss her in front of everyone, he will kiss her again in the evening if he wants. She blushes and kisses his hand back, leaving him speechless. In the background, the song Dil Hai Ke Maanta Hi Nahi plays. Anuj leaps for joy and wonders why the engagement is taking place in the evening rather than now. When Vanraj sees them together in his car, he becomes envious. Hasmukh is concerned for Anupamaa at Shah House. Samar offers him medicine and warns him that if he doesn’t take it soon, mummy would be concerned. When he receives a call, he takes a step back. Hasmukh is attacked and collapses to the ground, clutching his cheek. His family is unaware that he is writhing on the floor in pain. He collapses as he tries to pick up his medication box.
When Anuj returns home, Devika, Malvika, and GK are concerned about his safety. He tells them to unwind because everything will be great. He invites them to join him in celebrating hashtag Maan’s engagement. When Hasmukh returns to Shah’s residence, he regains consciousness and believes he has no idea how long he has been comatose on the floor. He had a hard time choosing a water mug. Vanraj sees him and goes over to him. Later, his family joins him. Anu returns, and she, too, is concerned about Hasmukh’s health. Vanraj and Leela accuse her of causing Hasmukh’s illness, claiming she overstressed him and forced him to run about. Vanraj then says that Anupama can marry in a temple, on the road, or wherever else she likes, but not in this house. Hasmukh claims that his daughter’s wedding will take place at this home. Mr Shah’s choice, according to Anupamaa. Hasmukh introduces himself as Mr Shah and declares that his daughter will marry in his home.
Hasmukh suddenly realises he was dreaming and resolves that his daughter’s happiness would not be jeopardised as a result of his failing health. He decides to go to the doctor in private and is unconcerned if he dies after kanyadaan. Due to tiredness, he acts as sprinkling cold water on Vanraj’s face as he hears him return. Vanraj tells him to look after himself and then walks away. Hasmukh believes he handled the matter well, but if it occurs again, his daughter’s marriage may be jeopardised, so he should go to the doctor quietly as soon as possible. He motivates himself to get up.
When Anuj receives a work call, he believes he will be able to complete all of his tasks before his wedding to Anupamaa. Malvika overhears him and suggests that he take a honeymoon after the wedding, mocks him, and asks where he wants to go on his honeymoon. He mentions being near the sea since Anupamaa enjoys being near the water. Malvika claims that he and Anupamaa are an encouragement to others who are approaching 40 and have given up hope of marrying or finding love. Their adorable sibling nok jhok is still going strong. GK and Devika are overjoyed to see their siblings bonding.
Hasmukh attempts to exit the house. Anupamaa returns home and inquires as to where he is going, assuring him that she and Vanraj’s meeting will be handled in her way. He tells her that he knows she and Anuj will manage any situation well, and he tells her to go rest till the engagement because he wants his daughter to look like a princess tonight. Anu exhibits the fading of her engagement ring mark. Hasmukh says he can’t wait to see Anuj’s ring with her name on it on her finger. He continues to beam with joy. Anu senses he’s concealing something and demands she reveal it. He becomes tense. She scolds him, saying he must be eating cream rolls every day, and wonders what will happen if something happened to him. He claims that nothing will go wrong with Hill’s wedding. Even after that, she says something and asks him for a promise. He tells her that today is her day, and she should enjoy it to the maximum. She enters the room. He begs Kanhaji to grant him time to complete his daughter’s kanyadaan.
