Devika is asked by GK if she told Anupamaa that she had to leave a huge assignment to attend Anupamaa’s wedding. Devika claims that if she tells Anupama about it, Anupamaa will help her. GK claims she will lose a lot of money. People think she battles with people for Anu, but Anu stood by her whenever she felt alone and pushed her to fight; sometimes just asking whether she’s fine is enough; she can leave the job for Anu, not just the project. When GK receives a call, he is taken aback. He tells Anuj, Malvika, and Devika that he’ll be getting puja goods and leaves. Anuj was making jokes at GK when he went to gaze at a cute aunty who came into the puja item shop. Devika and Malvika joke that they should marry GK as well. He chastises them for not focusing on #MaAn’s wedding.
Kinjal realises Anupamaa is confused and advises her not to inquire about what Vanraj said to her; instead, she should just ignore it. Pakhi displays her chosen engagement saree for Anupamaa, while she displays her chosen matching jewellery. They discuss cosmetics. Anu remains still. Kinjal discovers a problem and sends a message to someone. If Vanraj went to remind Anupamaa of her responsibilities, Kavya confronted him. Vanraj claims he reminded her that even after marrying Anuj, she must remember that she is the mother of his children and that her first objective should be her children. Leela believes he should have talked about it even at home. It’s between the parents, according to Vanraj. Leela urges him not to teach her because she is his mother and is aware of his motivations for following Anupamaa. Kavya inquires as to why. Leela tells Vanraj that he should at least think about Hasmukh and not raise his blood pressure. Vanraj claims that if he thinks about everyone, his brian nerves will burst; he usually listens to Leela and Hasmukh, but not this time.
Kavya cautions him not to damage himself while he is angry. Leela advises him to keep his cool rather than letting his wrath out on himself, and that he should let her handle the situation because Hasmukh and his children are on Anupamaa’s side. Kavya supports Leela and advises him to relax and enjoy himself. Vanraj is hell-bent on sabotaging Anupamaa’s happiness. Hasmuk attempts but fails to sip coconut water. GK approaches him and inquires as to what has happened to him. Hasmuk gives him the promise of Anu and Anuj and asks him to maintain the secret between them. GK pauses before agreeing to his demand and inquiring as to what happened to him. Hasmukh informs him that it is time for him to depart. GK chastises him for saying it. Hasmuk claims that they can fight with anything except time, but the truth is that his time is running out. Anuj locates GK’s car near the garden and searches. Hasmuk exclaims, “It’s time to go on four shoulders.” GK advises that they tell the family about it.
Hasmuk begs him not to since it would jeopardise Anupamaa and Anuj’s wedding plans. GK promises to take him to the greatest doctor in town. Hasmukh claims to be cash-strapped. GK chastises him, reminding him that he is Mukku’s mummy and that the two of them have a big business empire. Hasmukh concurs. GK claims that he will then take the Shah family to a psychiatrist because they are unable to function without resorting to dramatisation. When Anuj sees GK driving away in his car with Hasmukh, he assumes they’re organising a surprise for him and Anu.
The Shah family prepares for Anupamaa and Anuj’s wedding. Leela decides to join them. Kavya claims that after such a long time, she will not miss a celebration at home. Rakhi appears and declares that she, too, will not be missing it because she cannot miss a Shah family drama. Leela is hoping that her mother will arrive soon and spoil Anu’s delight. Pakhi inquires about Hasmukh’s whereabouts. Samar claims to have left the house. Leela believes he is squandering his time. Hasmukh’s report is checked by the doctor, who determines that he requires immediate heart surgery. Hasmukh has requested a 10-day postponement until his daughter’s wedding. He could die before then, according to the doctor. Hasmukh becomes resolute and declares that he is willing to accept that risk.
Anu’s marriage could be jeopardised, according to GK, if something happened to him. Hasmukh claims to have lived his life, but Anu has only begun to live hers, and he will not stand in the way of her happiness.
Pakhi, Dolly, and Kinjal prepare Anupamaa for her engagement, while Malviaka and Devika prepare Anuj. The song Janam Janam is playing in the background. Samar enters and says the boy’s relatives must be on their way. Kinjal asks her to wait until they’ve finalised their plans before leaving with the others. Looking at the engagement rings, Anupamaa and Anuj are overjoyed and believe the time has come. Rakhi inquires of Leela as to why the boy’s family has yet to come. Leela screams angrily at her. Kavya inquired as to Hasmukh’s whereabouts, as he appeared to be exhausted. It’s because of Anupamaa, according to Leela. With Kanta on the drums and GK, Sanjay, Malvika, and Devika cheering him on, Anuj enters in style. When Leela and Vanraj witness this, they frown.
