With Kanta, GK, Devika, and Malvika, Anuj enters Shah House in style. Kanta dances while playing the dhol. Along with them, Samar, Pakhi, Kinjal, and Toshu dance. Anupamaa is pleased to hear music and informs Anuj that he has arrived. Kavya is envious of Anupamaa’s luxurious engagement, and no one helped her with her wedding. Vanraj’s second marriage had to be performed secretly, according to Leela, but Anupamaa is unafraid. She reminds Vanraj that due to the weather, guests were unable to attend his engagement, and a dog bit Panditji, while a baraat arrived for Anupamaa’s engagement. Hearing that, Rakhi grins. Leela and Vanraj are still frowning. Anupamaa becomes excited to see Anuj and prays to Kanhaji to keep him safe from everyone’s Nazar/evil gaze. Leela teases Kanta about her fractured leg when she plays the dhol. Kanta responds by taunting that her heart is crushed, even though she is listening to music. Leela recalls how she used to speak to Kanta with a bowed head. Kanta claims that she used to bend in front of relationships but not in front of Leela because Leela didn’t follow relationships or earn respect, therefore there was no need to bend in front of her. Hearing that enrages Leela even more.
Leela is greeted by Sanjay. Rakhi wonders why he is with Baraat when he is the son-in-law of the Shah family. Sanjay responds that he is Anupamaa’s brother as well. Hasmuk extends a warm welcome to all. Anuj hugs him and touches his feet. Vanraj is taunted by Rakhi, who claims that his father loves everyone except him. GK hugs Hasmuk and asks if he took his medicine. Hasmuk claims to have done so. Anupamaa becomes increasingly agitated when she sees Anuj and hopes Vanraj and Leela don’t cause any problems. Anuj places his hand on Leela’s feet and asks for her blessings. Leela remains still. Devika taunts her to reduce TDS by 10% and bless Anuj. Anuj hugs Leela and tells her that she didn’t bless him today, but that he will wait for the day when she will.
Anuj must have won Anupamaa’s heart with his lovely speeches, Rakhi taunts Vanraj. Anuj then hugs Vanraj and warns him that if he continues to play mind games with Anupamaa, he will not be spared. Vanraj is informed by Rakhi that she overheard Anuj’s talk. Vanraj glares aggressively at her. Anuj then approaches a group of teenagers and requests that they contact Anupamaa as quickly as possible. His legs are being pulled by Kanta and Hasmukh. Anupamaa wonders why she isn’t being summoned and hopes everything is fine. She examines herself in the mirror and declares that she has improved. Anuj walks in and compliments her on her appearance. She is embarrassed and inquires as to why he is here. On Kanta and Leela’s advice, he claims he came to take her down. He approaches her, and she blushes. In the background, the song Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam plays. They become engrossed in each other. Rakhi inquires as to why Anuj and Anupamaa are taking such a long time to descend.
Anuj and Anupamaa are supported by Devika, Jignesh, Malvika, and Kanta, who ask Rakhi what problem she has if they are both late. Rakhi claims that she is unconcerned. They all make fun of Rakhi and try to silence her. Leela anticipates her mother’s arrival with bated breath. Jignesh informs her that their mother will not be coming because he overheard her talk and informed Leela why she summoned her. Leela inquires as to what her mother said. Jignesh sobs and explains that even when his mother heard her daughter begging her to become a pawn in her game, she sobbed too, but a mother remained a mother and did not become a pawn. Leela looks irritated.
Anuj and Anupamaa are having a beautiful moment together. The song Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam keeps playing in the background. They stroll side by side, each clutching the other’s hand. Anuj catches her as she falls. Vanraj notices them and looks enviously at them. They walk away, ignoring him. Jignesh teases Leela by saying that their mother sent blessings for Anupamaa and some conscience for Leela and that Anupamaa’s blessings have arrived, but Leela’s conscience is stuck in traffic. Leela becomes enraged with Jignesh. Jignesh tells her not to try to damage Anupamaa’s life and offers her a dose of reality. Anupamaa and Anuj descend the stairs. With a thunderous clap, the Shahs greet them. Leela and Vanraj are envious of them because they both laugh and enjoy the time.
