Anupamaa recalls Hasmuk’s illness and Vanraj’s charge in today’s episode. She has a breakdown. She thinks back on her time with Hasmuk and wonders why he does so much for her. Anuj gives Anupamaa advice. Hasmukh is very essential to Anupamaa, she tells Anuj. Hasmukh, she explained, had always filled the role of a father throughout her life. Anupamaa and Anuj exchange hugs. Hasmuk’s condition is also blamed on Anuj. Anupamaa becomes enraged with herself for failing to recognise Hasmukh’s suffering. She claims she is a bad daughter. Anupamaa goes on to say that if Hasmuk had died as a result of her wedding, she would never forgive herself. Hearing Anupamaa makes Anuj cry. Anupamaa is concerned that if anything happens to Hasmuk, she will be unable to cope. Anuj tells Anupamaa to stop crying and tells her that she should take care of Hasmukh. He tries to increase Anupamaa’s morale. Anupamaa is called out by Samar.
Anupamaa apologises to Hasmukh for not seeing his suffering. She goes on to explain why he prioritised her happiness over her health. Hasmukh and Vanraj are irritated. KG regrets not informing Hasmukh about his health. Kanta claims that a father normally makes a sacrifice for his children, but Hasmukh didn’t even consider his health for Anupamaa. Hasmukh’s bravery is praised by Devika and Malvika. Hasmukh apologised to Anupamaa for breaking his commitment and making her cry as a result. Anupamaa has decided to postpone the wedding until Hasmukh recovers. Hasmukh is obstinate. He announces that he would not visit the hospital till Anupamaa’s wedding. Hasmukh is persuaded to go to the hospital by Anupamaa, Leela, and others. Anupamaa informs Vanraj that they would be transporting Hasmukh to the hospital. Hasmukh claims that if she takes him to the hospital, he will not survive. Kinjal, Anuj, Vanraj, Leela, and Dolly are all stunned.
Rakhi compliments Hasmukh. She adds that as a mother, she understands since she can go to any length for Kinjal. Hasmukh is persuaded by Anuj and Anupamaa. Hasmukh claims that he will only visit the hospital after Anupamaa’s wedding. He begs Anupamaa to reconsider her decision and allow him to bid her farewell. Hasmukh promises Anupamaa that he will look after her until the wedding takes place. Hasmukh tells Shah to have fun. GK regrets not informing Anupamaa about Hasmuk’s health. GK is asked not to apologise by Anupamaa.
